Liberty, Kentucky

Find the lane

About four miles south of the square on US 127. Gravel lane on the right once you are in the river bottoms. Look for the red barn, not a sign.

A gravel farm lane leads to a whole red barn, with round hay bales and a hardwood tree line on either side.

From Liberty

  1. Start at the square in Liberty.
  2. Take US 127 south toward Russell Springs.
  3. Go about four miles, until the road drops into the Green River bottoms.
  4. Turn right on River Bend Lane, the gravel drive.
  5. The red barn is at the end of the lane. Park on the gravel, not in the grass.

If you reach Dunnville, you passed us. From Russell Springs, come north on US 127 through Dunnville. The lane is on the left about five miles past Dunnville, before the road climbs out of the bottoms into Liberty.

Text the stand

The Green River runs slow and muddy-green past sycamores and a gravel bar, with pasture hills beyond, in Casey County.

Demo map of Liberty and US 127 south. The lane is not pinned. Call before you come. The field decides.
