What grows when
May through October is the stand. The rest of the year we are closed. Call before you come. The field decides.

Month by month
| Month | In the field | At the stand |
|---|---|---|
| May | Strawberries start, if the nights stay kind. | Quart boxes. Short rows until the patch fills in. |
| June | Peak strawberries. This is the month we are proud of. | Flats if you are picking more than a few quarts. |
| July | Sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, and half-runner beans. | Corn by the dozen off the truck. Baskets for the rest. |
| August | Corn and tomatoes hold. Beans slow down. | Half bushels when the tomatoes come on heavy. |
| September | Pumpkins color up. Mums come in. | Hayrides start on the weekends. |
| October | Pumpkin patch and the corn maze. | Hayrides every weekend until the patch is picked through. |
Call before you come. The field decides. A hard rain shuts the berry rows. A dry August can finish the corn early. If the board on this page and the field disagree, believe the person who answers the phone.
